Yesterday was rough. At work, my students were complaining and whining their way through my geography lesson. The mother-of-all-headaches pounded the back of my eyeballs. Plus, I was a bit emotional from that so-called premenstrualsyndrome thing.

But the worst was yet to come.

I made the cardinal sin...I reminded my mother that she is menopausal.

What? Was I searching for an early death?!
