I can't believe it! I have actually accomplished something this semester...it must be a freak accident.

The deal is: I am only taking 4 credits: Latin Compostion and my Senior paper (which is a requirement but a big, fat zero credits!). 'What a glorious way to end my Senior year of college?' I thought...during J-term, that is. Since then I've been regretting this decision left and right. (Although, this schedule did let me have 3 Spring Breaks--which ROCKS! I'm not going to lie to you.)

You see, I am motivated to do next to nothing if I don't have a very filled-in planner. 'What do you do with all the hours in the day?' you ask. Well, I'm still not sure. But I can definitely tell you what I do not do, but should be doing. Things like researching for my paper, which I have to give a presentation on sometime at the end of April (ack!) and finding a job for after graduation so that I will have health insurance (double ack!)...but these all-important things seem to slip by without my noticing them...until I come home from the bars at 2am and look at the stacks of books (now overdue and never-opened).

Yet, despite these impediments--like my ability to buy beer legally and having too much time on my hands and the sun finally showing itself--I have managed to do the impossible (okay, it's actually really quite possible, but you get the point). I have found part-time work for the rest of the academic year ($11/hour--not bad!) and I have a pretty snazzy outline for my paper and my Latin composition is surprisingly fun!

Now, all I have to do is find a job with health benefits...but seriously, I've accomplished so much so far...I CAN DO ANYTHING! Ha! (This would be a good thing to remind me of when I'm actually in the midst of writing the damn paper and still unemployed after May and wanting to slit some wrists.)
