Monday, October 17, 2005I finally get a chance to go visit Jamie.The closer in proximity that you attend a college or university to me, the harder it is for me to visit you. I don't know why this phenomenon occurs, but it seems to have reigned true for at least the past five years. I've visited friends in New York and Philadelphia a couple of times, Oslo three times, Canterbury once but I didn't make it to Iowa (a mere 4 hour drive) until Jennabelle nearly graduated (then I made it up to her by making the trip a couple of times). I swear this doesn't mean that I love you any less...I think it means that I like to travel and sometimes the further the better for my soul. So once again, I'm a bit late (better late than never, right?) but I finally get to visit Jamie in Indiana. Despite the final destination being INDIANA, I'm pumped to see Jamie (she has to be the most exciting thing in Indiana!) and eat yummy food and drink yummy drinks. Yay!
