Tonight I was walking across Oslo alone (don't worry mom and dad, it was 23:45 but just dusk-like, couldn't even see stars) and a small creature passed in front of me. I followed it for a bit...and met a porcupine. I don't think it was a Nord-porcupine ("pinnsvin" pig with pins) because I said, "Hei, åssen går det?" and it didn't phase him. But when I said, "Hola, como estas?" He paused and looked at me for a while. He was a cute little "sak"!

This chance encounter definitely made up for the $10 skitt øl jei hade for frokost i morges. Draining the bank account has never been so wonderful :) Ha det bra.

Today I bought way too many clothes--that definitely won't all fit in my suitcase--and spent way too much money. But all's well because in 48 hours I will be blissfully traversing the Big Salty Pond, and I will return with more stamps in my passport. Yay!!!

I'm going to the land some call Norwegia (okay, not "some", just this one Indian I know named Elham who also can't pronounce her v's and thought the people who spoke "Norwegian" would obviously come from a land called "Norwegia"...Elham was very amusing to live next to).

After Norwegia I will return to the land of fried food and good beer to visit my Brits.

Happy graduation to all those I'm missing. I still love you, no worries. Ha det godt.
