It just doesn't seem to flow your way, or stay under control as it should.Last night the place where my lower left wisdom tooth was began to hurt. I took some drugs and went to bed. This morning my mom came in to say goodbye to me and as I turned to face her she exclaimed, "Oh, dear god!" That's right, it looked as if I had a golf ball in my cheek. But this was no chipmunk dress-up game, nor was I beginning the disgusting habit of chewing, my lack-of-tooth was horribly infected. Papa brought me to the doctor. They performed immediate surgery, and I watched the infected puss being yanked out of my mouth (that part was kind of cool, actually). Then, with the swelling even worse(!!) I went to class--hahaha!!! The overly-polite seminarians in my class said nothing, even when I had to write a sentence on the board as the class watched. After class I ran into my cousin Emily (since the Perron family is taking over UST, this is a common occurrence). Em, with her puppy dog brown eyes and never-ceasing smile asked how I was. I pulled my scarf down a bit and she burst out laughing. A bit shocked, that she laughed through my story of this morning, she finally explained that she is doing a study in Psychology right now about symmetrical faces. She pointed at me and said, "And you, my dear, do not have a symmetrical face." Then she bought me Ben & Jerry's ice cream. She's a good cousin. My dad insisted that I not cancel my plans tonight, but that I shouldn't drink (due to the antibiotics--smart, Papa). So, I guess we'll see the looks I get at the bar tonight, huh? I really hope I don't get stretch marks from this. My left jaw line is ENORMOUS! Who knew it would swell more than when the teeth were removed?!?
